Reflection Paper – Educational System
of China
February 13,
2013
China is the populous nations ever,
but their government managed properly their educational system into utmost
principles they believe that can contribute to their people with the best
output. They have 200 million students and 9 million teachers, if you will
compute the ratio one (1) teacher versus 23 pupils (1:23) that’s how their
government prioritized the educational system of their constituents. Their
government hired experts and scientist to make syllabus for instructional
guidelines. The government expenditure for education is widely monitored for
basic needs of the children. When I reading the fundamental education of China,
I was impressed how sincere the Ministry of education addressing the needs of
learning. Their outlook in life is global competitions that someday that China
is the producers of goods all over the world; and that’s true. Technologies are
equipped with high innovations that produced quality goods import and exports,
the reasons are their students teach basic skills in vocational and technical
courses.
According to the Ministry if education
children taught basic fundamental Chinese tradition was used as a vital tool
for centralization and unification of the country. They have reasons behind
this because China is a communist country before, the present administration
trying to heal the past regimes.
The first six (6) years of school make
up the primary grades which is devoted to development of cognitive skills, and
followed by another six (6) years of high schools. Primary and elementary
education here is not the same the number of years; the Philippines is the only
country in south east Asians nations using 10th year in education
system. The present administration is trying to level up the competencies by
achieving the K-12 programs which is now implemented starting last year. This
program aims for better Philippines, for skilled Filipinos in the coming years,
and to be global competitive manpower.
