Reflection Paper – “Foundational Principles of Morality and You”

"A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops."

Yes, that's true. The influence of the teacher never stops because throughout the life of the teacher is the model of the children not only by children but all the people of the community. This virtue which the teacher possess should be maintain, being a virtuous - you have acquired good habits and attitudes and you practice them consistently in our daily life. Every human being created by image and likeness of God, God wanted us to be imitating his actions and applying his teaching to everyone that needs our services. This is how we can show to our good intentions to others,  to let the  children learn good values by teach them how to be  good to their fellow children and respecting them in any form of  actions inside or outside the classroom. Example: asking permission if you used his/her belongings. These values derives from the influences of teacher, He shows the importance of being honest to someone.
The life of the teacher remain a paragon of virtues to the community where he/she getting old. The Community is expecting to be a leader and stewards of his/her children. Even in worst problems has teacher encounter he/she remained calm, effective and prayerful because we can act rightly to the good of everyone. According to Panizo claims "A virtue is no other than a good habit." is way of practicing and develops it into a good habit.

Reflection Paper - Teacher's Salary

Partly of the topic that we discussed during our class is the salaries of teachers and others professionals. I was conducted an interview with my friend, a teacher. According to Mrs. Melitona A. Cagasan, a Master Teacher II of Camaman-an, Elementary School. She started teaching way back 1988 and she received 3,000.00 only. The low salary of the teachers did not discourage her to be part of noble's profession. Her 24 years of service being a teacher was very meaningful because she witnessed the success of her pupils under her class. The true service cannot be measured by money or whatever things in exchange of good services.
I was also interviewed with Nancy Travero, Ph.D., she mentioned that her salary for her first teaching in the year 2007 being a teacher 1, step-1 is more or less 10,000.00. The government gives a salary subsidy of 6,500.00 starting 2007-2011. Now she received a 21,000.00 plus (PERA) amounting 2,000.00 as MT-3.
According to (RTWPB) tripartite board, for private employment they received a regular wage amounting 286.00 per day, minimum of 8 working hours. For other professionals such as medical doctors, lawyers, brokers, etc. are earned based on their services rendered.
My discernment still in place because I always looked forward for the betterment of my family but the good service that I can render is the best. I'm already aware of the difference in working between the government and private institution. My desire to teach is not only for earning but for the transformation of the individual. I will use my desired profession soon in uplifting the life of people wherever I encounter especially the people of hinterlands.

Reflection Paper – “If God did not exist, then everything would be permitted”

The implication is that if God didn't exist, morality also doesn't exist because only God can impose moral limits on human behavior.

This is a concept often given as a reason for a deist-type belief in some sort of God, even if a person doesn't attend church, read the relevant holy text, observe the relevant holy days or rituals, etc. However, many atheists and secular humanists who reject the idea of a metaphysical deity still have a solid moral grounding. Instead of basing the moral structure upon the recorded words of a deity (which atheists will point out are the words of men, attributed to a deity), secular humanists base their moral structure upon the sanctity of life of each human being and a shared responsibility as a species to care for each other and the environment in which all humans live.

Actually, in most cases, if you watch a moral Christian, a moral Jew, a moral Muslim, a moral Buddhist and a moral atheist working side by side you probably wouldn't be able to differentiate between them if they were of the same ethnicity/race (ie, Caucasian, African, Asian, etc.).
If you want to begin a relationship with God now, you can.
This is your decision, no coercion here. But if you want to be forgiven by God and come into a relationship with him, you can do so right now by asking him to forgive you and come into your life. Jesus said, "Behold, I stand at the door [of your heart] and knock. He who hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into him [or her]."19 If you want to do this, but aren't sure how to put it into words, this may help: "Jesus, thank you for dying for my sins. You know my life and that I need to be forgiven. I ask you to forgive me right now and come into my life. I want to know you in a real way. Come into my life now. Thank you that you wanted a relationship with me. Amen."
God views your relationship with him as permanent. Referring to all those who believe in him, Jesus Christ said of us, "I know them, and they follow me; and I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish, and no one shall snatch them out of my hand."20
So, does God exist? Looking at all these facts, one can conclude that a loving God does exist and can be known in an intimate, personal way.
